okay, time to update my blog!
firstly,
PW IS OVER!!! :D :D :D
it kind of ended on Monday, after OP (which wasn't too bad, luck was on our side! _____ wasn't there hehe xD)
and then on Tuesday we met up to hand in our I&Rs and finish filing stuff in our GPF, and then our cycle of PW officially ended.
well, i've already done my reflecting in the I&R, but just a little shoutout to my lovely group members:
THANKS SO MUCH!!
i wouldn't have wanted any other group and i really appreciate all of you!
especially having to deal with my going overseas and stuff, and even having to push back our OP because of me.
not to forget all the happy times i.e. going to the zoo, filming the video :D
even though meeting up for PW was always a bother, it was never stressful! and even quite fun (thanks to Daniel's laptop hehe)
i think our PW cycle really went quite smoothly!
since we never had problems with responsibilty and everyone was willing to compromise,
you guys are the best (:

and now, moving on to AIG in abit more detail.
so we arrived there on the first day, got our rooms sorted out and went to the pool for a swim.
the pool was quite nice, though somehow the tiny bubbles created by people dont dissipate so after awhile the pool gets REALLY cloudy/milky and lots of bubbles stick to your skin.
then it was back to the hotel and some people went to the Venetian for a massage since that was where the masseuses got to stay.
oh we also discovered they were playing huan huan ai on tv!
one of the last episodes.
so we settled down happily to watch
(except Christel who promptly fell asleep. haha)
second day,
heats in the morning.
luckily heats started quite late, at 10
so our wake up call was only at 7.30
back to the hotel for lunch and to rest
then to the pool for finals which started at 7, so we had quite abit of rest time in the afternoon.
next 2 days were basically the same.
then after heats on the last day of competition,
while some of them stayed in Macs to wait, the rest of us explored the area near the pool where they had quite a few shops.
bought almond cookies and stuff and had fun trying out the different kinds of bak kwa!
they have piglet and wild boar and all sorts!
so if you want a sample the shop assistant will just snip off abit for you.
then lunch at a portugese restaurant, where the portugese(i think) owner had an iphone!
it was really cool! we got to do the picture zoom in/zoom out thing with our fingers :D
after finals,
we headed to the Venetian for dinner.
it was REALLY REALLY big and grand!
and they had free flow of haagen dazs for dessert!
walked around abit looking at all the branded shops.
a pity we didn't get to take the gondolas though.
and i thought the bell boys' uniforms were really cute! ha. :D
on the last day we headed over to mainland Macau to shop.
there wasn't much and we didn't have alot of time.
but i managed to get a bag and a wallet.
so i FINALLY have a wallet.
i was getting really annoyed at having to dig through the pouch for coins.
after that, we headed back to the hotel for our luggage and left for the airport.
there, that about sums it up!
i dont have many pictures though, waiting for uncle swee leng to send them out!

because you didn't go, guess who had to swim back for BOTH the 4x50 and 4x100 relays!
me!
normally, no one who has ever watched me swim back would even think of making me swim back in an IM relay, but.. oh well.
it was really embarassing especially since back is the first leg!
..and obviously i was the last to reach the wall.
bad baaad experience.
never again please!
